New Australian Twitter collection now available

A new, entirely redesigned version of the Australian Twitter collection is now available to accredited TrISMA researchers. This tracks the public posting activities of the 500,000 historically most active Australian Twitter accounts on a continuous, real-time basis, and makes the data available to accredited researchers via Google BigQuery. Tracking recommenced on 1 March 2018, and all currently accredited TrISMA users have already been given access to the dataset. (The archival dataset of tweets to April 2017 remains available, too).

We have also updated the user manuals for the TrISMA Twitter Collection – these provide instructions on how to connect to the datasets using Tableau, and on how to conduct typical analysis steps. A pre-connected Tableau workbook is also available.
